Susanne Kohout - Head, Europe Region
Susanne
Kohout is President of CIBA VISION’s
Europe Region. Ms Kohout has been with
Novartis for eleven years holding positions of increased
responsibility.
Ms. Kohout joined Novartis in 1996 when she became Head of Germany for Zyma, the OTC business of Ciba-Geigy. In this position, she lead the merger efforts between Ciba and Sandoz Selfmedication into Novartis Consumer Health. From 2002-2005, Ms Kohout successfully led the EMEA region for Novartis OTC (Over-the-Counter) business and most recently, she served as Global Head Marketing/Consumer Excellence, Novartis Consumer Health.
Prior to joining Zyma, she held a number of positions with Procter & Gamble In Germany, Benelux and Scandinavia.
Ms. Kohout has a degree in Business Administration from the
University of Cologne.
